The game works for the most part, the only issue is that sometimes the audio gets buggy.
Tinker Steps:Switch to older version: 9.0-4, Set launch options
PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 %command%

Performance:Slight Performance Problems
In the beginning of the game, the framerate drops when I look at my crafted pizzeria.
When I tried to launch the game with proton 9.0-4 but without adding the command, the game launches with a black screen but the audio and controls still work.
