Tinker Steps:Switch to experimental
Using proton experimental bleeding edge, videos seem to play correctly. Appears flipped on proton 8.0-2. Valve appears to have begun distributing transcoded videos in the shader cache.

Both native and proton versions worked just fine
I noticed upon downloading the native version I did not have my old windows save, but when using proton I had my old windows file. Did not try manually adding saves in either attempt

Got about 60fps average max settings. Did not notice any issues unique to proton. Did not test on windows. Played for about 2 hours.
