and I'm unable to play.
Also the buggy overlay is super annoying and I have no clue how to disable it.
with 'No GTAVLauncher hack' and extra launch options
looks good, but crashes/hangs regularly.
Used the 'WINEDLLOVERRIDES=winedbg.exe=d %command%' for launch options.
Haven't been able to finish the first mission. Seems to crash/hang at some cut-scenes and animations. For instance when climbing the fence. in or out of the first altercation.
Seems to work great with proton 4.11-8
I have tried the mentioned tweaks (No Launcher, WINEDLLOVERRIDES), but at this point with proton 4.11-8 it seems to work great without these.
Most of the story line game play works. The main issue is every 20-30 minutes there is a brief interruption.
Every 20-30 minutes the controls stop working and the screen briefly flashes to black. After that it comes back and I can continue playing.
Every 20-30 minutes there is a brief interruption where the controls stop working and the screen flashes to black. Unfortunately I'm unable to connect to the Online part, which is a shame because it was the main purpose for buying the game on PC.
This used to work, now it just fails to see the R* games launcher.
I had played hundreds of hours in this game before, but after taking a break for a few months it no longer works.

Headset audio doesn't play with plain alsa
Classic GTA vs Monty Python humor .. yeah this rules! Extremely playable. Bit heavier then expected.
If you're interested in modular synths but don't have a bag of cash or want to stare at the screen and use a mouse then you want this!
Need pipewire to mock pulseaudio on pure alsa system
Since the game is made in Unity3d and JUCE a native build should totally be possible. However since I'm probably the only Linux user at the moment and the developer has other priorities this will take a while.
