+set m_smooth 0
The game often takes a while to register any input and sometimes you keep moving/shooting even after you've stopped pressing any keys. Even worse, sometimes input isn't registered at all.
The game feels like it's being played in slow motion even when it never drops below 24 FPS
I've tried changing the graphical settings from low all the way to ultra, changing from fullscreen to windowed to borderless, and changed the render API from Vulkan to OpenGL and back several times (OpenGL performs much worse), but the game runs equally as bad regardless. I've also tried to change m_smooth to 0 to see if the input lag would go away. It made the mouse more responsive, but the other issues didn't get fixed. I don't know if it's normal, but the game's included FPS counter wouldn't go past 30, except when using OpenGL, where the game reaches over 60 FPS in the main menu.
Turns out that the game's default settings degrade its performance.
Turns out that the "Razer Chroma" setting, in the "Keyboard & Mouse" section of the game's settings really degrades its performance (at least in my machine) Not a linux issue, though! Runs very well.
Completely unplayable, can't see anything.
Everything displayed onscreen is pure red or pure black.
Overall, the game seems to work well, except for minor issues.
Getting to the game's fullscreen (pressing F4) causes part of the top-left of the screen to show a shot of the screen that was present when you fullscreened the game. It constantly blinks. It doesn't stop you from playing fullscreen, but it's annoying and can hurt your eyes.
Not sure if this happens in the windows version, but moving feels weirdly laggy and sometimes my inputs don't register if i'm already moving in one direction and then press another (like trying to move upright while going to the right)
Also not sure if this also happens to the windows version, but the background doesn't move super smoothly and going through rooms takes a while.
Unlike what the game's title screen says, F5 and F6 don't do anything.
