Game doesn't work out of the box, you will need to use an older version of Proton along with Protontricks. Otherwise works well.

rm -rf $HOME/.steam/steam/steamapps/compatdata/304240 run this command to remove previous proton data wont remove safe files

Launch the game with Proton 5.0-10, IT HAS TO BE 5.0-10 I tried with GE custom version of proton and 5.13 and protontricks would just return denied permissions.

Capcom splash screen logo will appear before and blackscreen with no way of moving forward.

Open your terminal and execute protontricks 304240 -q wmp11.

if by any reason you get a traceback call error from importing vdf make sure you have installed the latest version of protontricks-git and reinstall python-vdf package through you package manager of choice

Once finished, you should be able to launch and play the game.
