Got it after the 2.0 "Beyond" update. 100+ hours all on Linux, using Xbox 360 pad along with mouse & keyboard. Less crashes than my friend on Windows ;) Had to edit the game's config file initially (tesselation -> low) but it seems that's been fixed.
