You have to launch the game in vr mode. You do not need vr but you have to launch it in vr mode. You can launch it normally to modify settings but if you try to play it that way it says "Operation not supported" Once you launch it in vr mode it works fully. You can do a full 8 hour drive without crashes. You can also join multiplayer properly.
