The game doesn't seem to be resource-hungry. Works just fine on AMD integrated graphics.

Launch Flags:Use Wine D3D

Without PROTON_USE_WINED3D the game opens up with the black screen, but with some sound. Seems to be the common issue with some games of this genre, probably written in RPGmaker. See https://github.com/ValveSoftware/Proton/issues/3694 for info and other workaround.

This game is written on top of Ren'Py engine, which runs natively on Linux. The developer of the game for some reason just deleted the binaries and the .sh script from the game distribution. Again, those binaries are distributed WITH the engine.

So, if you know how to use Ren'Py, you can just recompile it using Ren'Py SDK and run it natively.

Make sure you have Proton EasyAntiCheat Runtime installed in steam in Tools menu. Without it the game logs you off after 5-10 mins or so playing.
