BRAVELY DEFAULT II
Tinker Steps:Changed configuration
The game may not auto-detect graphical settings correctly and set them to the lowest possible values. This results in low quality models and textures on some NPCs, especially during cutscenes. Furthermore the in-game settings don't affect LOD (probably a bug). Therefore the following tweak is required to ~/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/compatdata/1446650/pfx/drive_c/users/steamuser/Documents/My Games/Bravely_Default_II/Steam/<user-id>/Saved/Config/WindowsNoEditor/GameUserSettings.ini
:
For ultra settings:
[ScalabilityGroups]
sg.ResolutionQuality=100.000000
sg.ViewDistanceQuality=4
sg.AntiAliasingQuality=4
sg.ShadowQuality=4
sg.PostProcessQuality=4
sg.TextureQuality=4
sg.EffectsQuality=4
sg.FoliageQuality=4
For high settings:
[ScalabilityGroups]
sg.ResolutionQuality=100.000000
sg.ViewDistanceQuality=3
sg.AntiAliasingQuality=3
sg.ShadowQuality=4
sg.PostProcessQuality=3
sg.TextureQuality=3
sg.EffectsQuality=3
sg.FoliageQuality=3
Graphics:Other
Low LOD models and low-res textures
This may not affect all users. Change the config file only if you notice low quality models and textures. Otherwise auto-detected settings should be fine.
