You must start the game in Desktop Mode to be able to login into your Microsoft account. Afterwards you can play in Gaming Mode.
Turn off Fullscreen in Desktop mode first or else you won't be able to play. Afterwards you can run in Gaming mode just fine.
Some frame drops can happen while connected online in the open world areas (During actual races it runs fine). You have the option of playing solo in the open world, which can avoid this issue. Loading screens can take a bit.
If you're an achievement hunter, you won't be able to get all achievements as some require online activities that have already concluded.
Frame drops may occur when night mode turns on (during its transition).
Works fine out of the box otherwise.
Runs smooth everywhere. Preferentially adjusted FOV to 90. Fans can spin up a bit in the open areas.
Steam may recommend you use the magnifier option for small text, but I haven't really found a need for it.
Extremely rarely (<1 time per game session), you may experience a frame skip while playing which can result in you taking damage.
No other issues, runs great!
Works fine on default settings besides slightly desynced subtitles in the opening movie.
Didn't have to change any settings. Runs great with no crashes!
