Upon start-up the game compiles Vulkan shaders and then falls to load. Switching Proton versions does not help either.

However, on a whim I attempted to run the game through Wine withouth steam- as the game does allow this -and it worked perfectly fine. No sound hitching, no graphics braineaking, no input lag or issues. So I'd say Gold Ratting. Just don't use steam to edirectly run it.

Otherwise I'm not sure WHY it doesn't run on steam, could be a config issue on my side really. That being said, if it works with the latest version of WINE it should work with no problems on proton. :)
