Game no longer loads after patch 1.23
I previously played this game many hours with no performance issues. Doesn't run after path 1.23
Version 1.3 runs rock solid. I had crashing issues with version 1.23 when I finally got it to run.
Version 1.5 update does not load
The game was working flawlessly before this update.
I had to decouple cloud saves initially or the game would not load.
I'd previously tried the "play something making sound" and changing proton versions with no success.
I looked at my steamapps/compdata/1091500 folder and noticed the config_info file showed proton 5.x even after I tried forcing it to use other versions. I deleted it and ran a verify after selecting compatability options and forcing proton version 7.x.
The game still didn't run...until I deselected cloud saves and played a 13 second youtube video while launching. It now seems to run perfectly.
I have since re-enabled cloud saves, but it still needs sound playing before it launches.
It crashes before loading without it.
The native linux edition would not run for me. The windows dx11 version ran flawlessly on my machine.
You can disregard my Multiplayer responses. I have no real idea if anti-cheat software is a factor. It's a shame that there isn't a "N/A" or "Did not test" choice. I loaded the multiplayer section and it seems like it shoould work...but I don't know for certain.
The game would freeze at mission loading with the latest version of Proton (7.0-2). Works fine with 6.38
Running with the current Proton release is unplayable. There is significant flicker on the right side of the game window.
I tried Proton 6.3-7 which was a flickering mess...the same for Proton experimental. Proton 3.16-9 works well.
