The native Linux version does not work - looks like it has not been updated in years. Enable Proton (tried both 7.0-6 and 8.0-2) and the game works perfectly.
The native Linux version fails with an error about shader compilation. Using Proton though, the Windows version works great - just need to use the touch screen early on to select from the menu.
The native Linux version does not want to start. Changing to Proton (I just went with the default, the curren experimental) the game starts and I was able to play through the first few minutes of the game.
All main text is perfectly readable, but there are some hints that use rather small lettering. Nothing to stop one from enjoying the game though.
Some texts are a tad small. Not a real issue though.
Played for about 40 minutes (completed the game on Switch before, so not playing the whole game right now). So far, it just works perfectly, as installed.
The text in the book is small, but is also read out loud for you, so no real issue for most of us.
