Game would not launch unless I downgraded to proton 6.3-8

Game ran fine once I got it to actually launch. I tried with versions 7.0-6, 8.0-5, 9.0 (beta), and experimental. Steam would try to launch the game, it would run for about 1s before automatically closing with no errors. Setting to 6.3-8 allowed the game to finally launch.

Performance:Significant Performance Problems

I had to turn indirect lighting, reflections, volumetric shadow quality, ssao, and point light shadows to off (or lowest available) otherwise looking at some towers would tank the framerate to 1 and eventually crash my gpu.

I used Mangohud to limit fps to 60 as there is not a frame limit option ingame.

Game will not close after clicking exit, it freezes until you hit stop on Steam.

Game wouldn't launch without using GE-Proton8-32, it would sit on a black screen before closing without reaching the main menu

Verifying files does nothing, I would guess the windows bat files used to install the EOS hook aren't properly running due to cmd line/language differences. I ain't smart enough to figure out how to fix that. The game works perfectly if you own it on Epic and launch it from there, however Steam version does not work.

sometimes the mouse cursor would appear onscreen while in the settings which would prevent the game from registering the gamepad inputs

Bot matches loaded up fine and ran without issue

I tried it on the deck for shits and giggles after failing to get it working on my pc and whadya know it worked right out of the box. Both instances are fresh installs so no idea why only one works.
