As of 2021-01-19, the game appears to work perfectly with Proton Experimental.

Proton 5.13-5 did not work due to what looks like Windows Media Framework issues. You get stuck on a black screen and the game never loads. However, as mentioned in the title, the game works perfectly with Steam's built in Proton Experimental option. I will perform more in depth testing once Proton is rebased on to Wine 6.0.

The game does not load with Proton 5.13-6, you get stuck on a black screen. This is likely due to incomplete Windows Media Framework support in the Proton 5.13 branch. However, as noted in the title, everything seems to work perfectly with Proton 6.3-2.
