I initially tried running the game with Proton 7.0-6. The game refused to open. I then attemped to run the game using newer versions of Proton (versions 8.0-5, 9.0-3, and Experimental) with "PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 %command%" in the Launch Options. The game then opened but just shown a black screen with only the mouse cursor changed to the in game one.
