Default configuration performance is unplayable slideshow, WINED3D makes the game very dim.
Tinker Steps:Switch to experimental, Set launch options
PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 gamemode %command%

PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 for some reason greatly decreases the game brightness (and there is no ingame option to increase it).
Performance:Significant Performance Problems
The game with default Proton configuration runs signfficantly slower than on Windows. Adding PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 greatly improves performance.
