Tinker Steps:Switch to experimental

Input:Other

i used an external Controller, the 8bito Ultimate 2,4Ghz and need to switch from x-input toi d-input to select the menu

Significant Bugs:

At first launch the game wanted to connect to Epic online Service, i dont know why, but after that it launches without any issues

Overall (local):Excellent

The game works great so far on the Steam deck! There are a few glitches in the graphics in the game, but I think that's more due to the game and not the performance of the Steam deck.

open the terminal
Navigate to the installation directory of EG2:

cd /path_to_your_steam_directory/SteamLibrary/steamapps /common/Evil Genius 2/Launcher
create a backup of eg2.exe (optional):

mv eg2.exe eg2.exe.back
create a link from evilgenius_vulkan.exe to eg2.exe (bypasses the launcher):

ln -s ../bin/evilgenius_vulkan.exe eg2.exe

Then it run out the box.
