Tinker Steps:Custom Proton: GE, protontricks

Install a Windows DLL or compoent

Package dotnet 20 Title MS .NET 2.0

Audio:Missing

I didn't notice any Background music.

If the proton version changes, the proton pfx will most likely need to be deleted and dotnet20 will have to be reinstalled, otherwise it might come up with errors.

Also, tried installing dotnet20 on Proton 8.0-1 and that has multiple errors when installing that component.

One of the best RTS game ever made. Plays extremely well on the Steam Deck, with the proper controls.

Control Layout:Switch To Community Layout: Red Alert 2 By TeamLinux01

In game option should be changed to the max resolution of 1024x768x16 and scroll speed to the fastest.

I recommend playing the game with speed 4/Fast, the setting faster than that is hard to keep up and the fastest is way too fast to enjoy.

The windows launcher comes up without issues. Plays fine.

Game crashes when trying to use native to the OS Linux Runtime. If running the native port, use the Built-in Steam Runtime. The game seems to run as good using Proton as the Built-in Steam Runtime.
