Game crashes because there is a missing file "shine_glowing.wmv". This file is being called everytime there is a UI modal. To fix it just add the missing file. Since the file is not on the installed folder just take another .wmv file and copy it. Then rename it to the missing file.
How to fix:
- Righ click on game and select "Properties..."
- Go to tab "Installed files"
- Click on button "Browse"
- Go to folder "Data\Video"
- Take a file and copy it. I took the file "B_ShadowBeast.wmv" and made a copy.
- Rename copy from "B_ShadowBeast (copy).wmv" to "shine_glowing.wmv" (took this file since it is the smalles size)
- Profit
Game crashes when you get to modals because of a missin wmv file.

- Right click "Arcania" and select "Properties..."
- Go to tab "Installed Files"

- Go to folder "Data/Video"
- Make a copy of a small file like "B_ShadowBeast.wmv" to "B_ShadowBeast (Copy).wmv"
- Rename the "B_ShadowBeast (Copy).wmv" to "shine_glowing.wmv"
- Play game
Some faces are sometime see through for some items.
You have to just fix the crashes. If you fix it and unsee some gaphical gliches the game plays fine.
