The default layout has way too sensitive mouse cursor movement using the right trackpad. Adjust it to lower the sensitivity.
Used 40 FPS limit, it's still smooth enough and uses less battery.
No community patch is needed to enable 3D acceleration effects, works out of the box.
Randomly crashes during mission loading
Often crashed during mission loading. Starting the game (sometimes multiple times) resolved it and the next mission loaded fine. Only tested with tutorial and the first two missions.
Played ~2 hours through the whole first world and part of the second, no issues at all. An Xbox gamepad worked as well.
Works perfectly
I've finished the whole game, no issues with it whatsoever.
Alt+Enter to switch to a window is broken, the window image is frozen. Also, if you Alt+Tab while fullscreen, the game gets windowed (and it works this time), but you can't make it fullscreen again.
The mouse cursor is very small on a 4K display. The solution is to run protontricks 1328840 winecfg
and increase the DPI value.
Mouse cursor is too small on a high-resolution display
Finished the game, no problems.
When starting the game, you have to press Ignore three times on a warning dialog. The game then starts fine.
Finished the whole game. Everything runs perfectly, just movies at the beginning and end of the game don't play (but can be skipped easily).
When picking up powerups, the description of what you picked up is rather small.
Works fine
On your first play, you might hear voiceovers crackling. You just need to adjust sound levels in settings and it goes away. But it's an issue officially documented by developers, probably encountered on Windows as well.
Works great
The game might crash if you select graphical options that will exceed your VRAM. But that happens on Windows as well. When you change graphical options on the fly, you might see some gameplay stuttering, but restarting the game fixes it.
