I think mine is a niche case. I'm just highlighting it in case anyone else has this issue. I have 4 monitors, running on 2 different GPUs. The game would launch on the wrong monitor and if moved to the correct one, became unclickable until moved back. Issue resolved using Proton 8.0-5. No issue at all with only a single monitor connected.
