-Left bumper = SPACE (jump) -Left trigger = SHIFT (crouch/slide) -Right trigger = LEFT MOUSE CLICK -Right touchpad = AS MOUSE
For me the game would crash shortly after launching until I forced the use of Proton 7.0-4. Otherwise it runs flawlessly.
Celaria does not support controller input natively, so you must emulate a keyboard and mouse layout. For navigating the menus I like to use the right trackpad "as mouse", and bind right trigger to "left mouse click". For gameplay I've found that setting the bindings similar to Mirror's Edge works well (left bumper = jump, left trigger = crouch/slide). Right trackpad is also used for aiming/look. The X button by default is bound to "R" which will restart the current level.
Overall a good experience with minimal tinkering.
Runs fine without any tinkering.
Runs perfectly fine using Proton 7.0 or later, no performance or technical issues, default control scheme works well. Overall great experience.
Runs fine with Proton 7.0.
Installs and runs with no hassle, and the default control scheme works well. However, I would recommend changing most graphics options to "low" or "off" for best performance. With those settings it stays close to 60 fps most of the time. Some levels with a lot of environmental detail will dip down to the 30s, but the game is still very playable from beginning to end. Overall good experience.
Runs well using Proton 7.0-4
changed right thumbstick to joystick mouse, left thumbstick to WASD, no gyro
On two occasions I had to close and reboot the game because it decided to stop reading inputs entirely. It may have been caused by trying to make too many steam input changes while in-game or having a layout with kb&m inputs together with gamepad, but I have not been able to replicate it.
Installs and runs without any issues using default compatibility settings. Default control scheme works fine, though I'd recommend changing right stick/trackpad controls to mouse or joystick mouse for less acceleration. Controller joystick movements are very sluggish in this game, but the other inputs work well using a combination of gamepad and kb&m. Performance stays close to 60 fps most of the time at max settings, but will dip a little with a lot of enemies on screen. No other major issues to report. Overall good experience.
