Tips for Fix :
Open terminal and run this command ( if you have nano or by vim or other...)
sudo nano /etc/hosts
Copy and paste this at the end of the host file
127.0.0.1 gconnect.ubi.com
127.0.0.1 uts.ubi.com

Freeze/Lag causing by ubisoft issue
I tried adding the windowed launch option but with any option the game crashed, if you change the settings in the game, it works.
The game refuses to start
gamemoderun %command% --launcher-skip
edit launcher-configuration.json for force to use DX11
Despite trying different recommended options such as --launcher-skip gamemoderun
and testing multiple Proton versions, including experimental ones,. I've also edited the launcher-configuration.json file without success.
Every time I click on the Play icon, the launch process seems to initiate but quickly ends without the game starting.
Any suggestions or solutions would be greatly appreciated.
If typical player can juste push the bouton Play is realy good beceause the game work nice , i have good performance in game is realy cool

i add the game witch lutris - proton steam - copy paste the path location from Witcher3.exe directX11 on lutris Game options / game binary path /
And the game start Nice , but don't work with steam launcher
Mouse and gamepad conflit is active both , so for solve this i have checked in system options lutris ( relative mouse mode) and gamepad work good now !
i uninstall windows let's go for linux all time now !
