Overall it's work like native windows
Can't minimize game or change resolution without cause it into endless bugging, helps to set virtual desktop for wine container
Sometimes might freeze for a short while, maybe because i play on old HDD
I run game with custom launch option pointing on my ICD file from AMD driver (VK_ICD_FILENAMES=/opt/amdgpu-pro/etc/vulkan/icd.d/amd_icd64.json)
VK_ICD_FILENAMES=/usr/share/vulkan/icd.d/radeon_icd.x86_64.json %command%
in my case, it was problematic to start the game, I tried all versions of proton from 5 to 7, to no avail. Then I used PROTON_LOG=1 and at the end of the log I saw that the game for some strange reason could not find my video driver. Therefore, I specified it in the launch options, my line was for RADV, but you can also use AMDVLK, the game also works with it. I ended up using Proton-6.21-GE-2 for this game.
It works great out of box. Click play and...play! Perfect!
Everything is perfect until you start to minimize the game. Happens not always, but sometimes it can cause performance drop. It's not visually "lagging", you just feel like your FPS lost it's half. Restarting the game fixes this problem. Might be a Gnome 3 related issue.
Works out of box, no problems.
Great ping, no lags
