The only performance issues I've experienced are frame rate drops whenever the game is loading a new area.

Deleting Local Files > Game > ME1 > Binaries > Win64 > OpenAL32.dll fixed ME1 audio issues as reported by a different player

Gameplay almost entirely unaffected except for 1 ingame TV that should show a video that gives a hint but only shows static.
Tinker Steps:Switch to experimental
Graphics:Other
The TV screens are not displaying a useful image (looks like static). This also includes the TV screen that provides hints and can therefore affect gameplay (you can't watch hint videos)
If you don't want hints you will have to look at youtube videos. Ingame videos do not display properly

Adding WINE_DO_NOT_CREATE_DXGI_DEVICE_MANAGER=1 %command% to the steam launch options fixes ingame videos not showing.
