Significant performance issues first time playing. Enabled async and most stuttering ceased

FSR2 will always crash the game on boot when using Nvidia and Vulkan. I just use FSR instead.
Works "fine". First few hours will have intermittent stuttering but it seemed to settle down as the shaders compiled.

Use DLSS when playing on Nvidia, regular AA looks awful. I assume the equivalent is true for AMD and Intel, use FSR and XeSS.
Works fine only with proton experimental. Using proton-ge or mf-install would cause the game to crash upon trying to load videos. Proton experimental skips the videos and the game is completely playable so far. Further testing required on whether various tweaks could load the videos. DXVK also works fine and no graphical issues have been seen yet.

Purged EA app, installed origin through protontricks, then placed a modded version dll in the origin dir from https://github.com/p0358/Fuck_off_EA_App
