Beta branch has many QoL fixes and should be considered as definitve way to play the game. But it's unpleasnt experience due to visual bugs.
Limited TDP to 15W
Heavily artefacted volumetric clouds and smoke effects in the Beta branch
Beta branch is unplayable due to the clouds glitch. Sadly it offers also a lots of new QoL changes and performance fixes.
Limited TDP to 15W
Heavily artefacted volumetric cloud and smoke effects greatly reducing the overal targets and terrain visibility
Performance problems do not prevent from completing the game even on hard, however, they kill the pleasure of getting into the game itself.

Locking power at 15W
Using the lowest in-game settings 1024x768 with TSR set on low, linear upscalling (theoretically FSR 1.0 should work better but not in this case). Foggy street areas run decently (stable 30fps). The Nexus mod improves the framerate insignificantly. Same as the less complex interiors. But anything with heavy folliage and lighting effects borders between the slideshow and playbility (~15-20 fps). The Forest, Rosewater Park, second half of Hospital, Toluca Prison were the most tanking performance locations. I barely noticed any traversal stuttering issues. Could've been fixed in the latest patch. The game also runs very stably. Not once did I have a crash.
The game has a potential to even be veryfied on Deck just as Dead Space (2023). The Bloober themselves probably are aware of this by releasing an optimization patch with the Steam Deck in mind. So far it doesn't make a significant improvement, but I hope they won't stop there.
