The game is playing OK like this (mouse input). No menu UI and no save option but I think that's how the game was designed to be...
Not necessarily difficult to read but a bit too small to be comfortable
Not sure if it's full screen or not, there is no actual menu
Not sure a save game option even exists...
Proton 3.16-9 was the only option that started the game. Any other option I tried failed to start the game - black or white screen with sound but no image.
With that version of Proton it works fine. There is no menu UI, no settings, no option to save mid-game but I think it was designed like that. If you exit mid-story you have to start from the beginning. A bit annoying but at least it works...
The game works by default with no tinkering. It uses mouse input with the right trackpad.
Online works out of the box with no issues.
Works great out of the box, both single and multiplayer. The mouse input with the trackpad it's not ideal for competitve gaming but it works well and the game is fun.
The game works perfectly on SD without any custom settings. It runs in 16:9 aspect ratio.
Perfect experience out of the box. Over 4h of gameplay on a full charge when the game is running at 1080p and stable 60fps (looks nice and sharp). Battery life might be improved by lowering the resolution and the TDP if you need to.
The multiplayer seems to be working but I couldn't find anyone to play with to see how well is working.
The local multiplayer seems to be working fine but I didn't test it properly yet.
Maybe with a bit of tinkering it might run at 16:10...
This should be verified.
Works well with Proton Experimental (haven't tried native) and the controller layout wirks OK by default but it can be improved
The game works great on Steam Deck via Proton Experimental without any other tinkering. There is a window at the start to select resolutions and graphics settings which can be easily operated with the trackpads.
Trackpads ar needed to navigate the menus as well but I think the controls can be tweaked easily if you need to.
The game itself controls perfectly with the joystick.
I would catalogue this as definitely playable and I can't recommend the game enough - very fun.
