The game itself runs fine and can be played and enjoyed without any tinkering, BUT a major story bit is lost if you're playing on default settings. To get the full uncompromised experience, you NEED to play it using GE-Proton7-43. I also tried Proton Experimental, but had the same results as with the default compatibility options. Also, to have the smoothest experience possible, do lock the framerate and the refreshrate to 45fps.
