Tinker Steps:Switch to experimental

Works exactly same as Windows after changing network MTU size to 1450, otherwise I couldn't get Ubisoft Connect to work at all. Use Proton Experimental, 8.0 instantly crashed for me. Not an issue of the game itself though.

Stuck at the Ubisoft connect launcher

I can create an account but after login, it says: "Ubisoft service currently unavailable" "Go offline" option doesn't work, it says I have to login at least once to be allowed to go offline :/

Customizations:

The Uplay overlay notification will stay in the top right corner without an option to close. It seems this is also causing the game to crash if the window loses focus. The Uplay launcher also stays active after closing the game so steam still thinks it's running.

Disabling the Uplay overlay and changing the setting that allows the launcher to 'minimize to system tray' fixes these issues.

Instability:Occasionally

Can crash easily if Uplay fixes are not applied.
