Game runs perfect on proton experimental now. Using the latest version of GE results in crashes at the start of the first level. I noticed when you connect to an external monitor, the framerate chugs at every heavy attack regarless if it connects with an enemy or not. Other than that, runs just fine with no additional tweaks on deck as of now.
I swear this game worked fine in the past, but right now it seems to just freeze on a black screen upon starting up the game. Switching between Proton versions(including GE-Proton) did nothing to fix this.

Game freezes up after beginning playback of first cutscene. Restarting or trying different proton versions replicates this problem.
Should this really be platinum/deck verified?
Once you perform the fixes in this thread, yeah. The game runs flawlessly.
The game at one point started trying to render in an abnormally low resolution.
The pre-rendered cutscene wouldn't start at first. But there's a fix in these reports.
The fixes to my setup at least, were in the thread when I checked.

Needed to stop in game crashes
This is necessary to get videos working

Apply this https://github.com/z0z0z/mf-install to the wine/proton install for TSA to get the intro videos to work, from there, the game works fine though it crashes occasionally
Crashes occasionally, once after the first tough enemy and again later after landing a aerial attack
If you get blurry/low-res 3D rendering - find game config file ( i.e. SteamApps/compatdata/961490/pfx/dosdevices/c:/users/steamuser/Local Settings/Application Data/TSANMH/Saved/Config/WindowsNoEditor/GameUserSettings.ini
) and change sg.ResolutionQuality
to 100.000000
As mentioned above, render resolution wasn't set properly for me and there's no in-game way to change it, i had to edit file manually.
