Currently, proton is completely unsupported by the anti-cheat. I was unable to even play the tutorial level due to this.
The developer has stated that they plan to support proton and/or linux at some point, and you may be able to work out some fix, similar to Squad, however at this time it will not work out of the box.

First launch worked and game seemed to run fine. Subsequent launches resulted in being stuck on a black screen using 100% of a cpu core.
Got disconnected several minutes after joining, but the game is in alpha so it's expected

PLAYTEST: Stuck when loading into a map
DRI_PRIME=1 gamemoderun %command%
PLAYTEST: Freezes on black screen with audio playing when attempting to load into map. Menus and everything else works fine, does not appear to have any issue with anticheat. Could work on full launch, but playtest is not working.
I did no further troubleshooting beyond setting proton experimental and adjusting video options.
Error received after final crash:
LowLevelFatalError [File:D:build++UE5SyncEngineSourceRuntimeRenderCorePrivateRenderingThread.cpp] [Line: 1272] GameThread timed out waiting for RenderThread after 120.00 secs
Freezes

worked great out of the box
sky looked a bit weird when switching night vision on and off, don't know if that's due to early development or a problem on my side
