Playable on a high-end machine, but it has issues, unrelated to Proton. I recommend wait for a bit before buying, while devs patch.

Performance:Significant Performance Problems
Game performance is horrible, even on lowest settings. However, this is also an issue with the vanilla game and performance is being optimized still. As of now, for me, it averaged between 7 and 15 fps on lowest settings. However, I do not have the best hardware, but other games do run significantly better.
Instability:Occasionally
There are still some occasional crashes and issues with the game like exceptions, that don't crash the game, but spam the console and prevent you from doing anything in the game. Those issues are, however, not related to Proton or Linux but are issues that are on Windows as well.
