Occasional crashes are annoying, but auto-saves and quick loading mean lost progress is minimal.
Button prompts display inaccurate information: Y is the zoom button, though button prompt says X; Left Stick controls character movement, not cursor; D-pad does not control character, despite what the game says.
Game still occasionally crashes; however, there is an auto-save after each level, so progress lost is minimal. Crashes are more frequent with versions of Proton other than Experimental.
Sometimes, when a video is supposed to play, the screen goes black and the game freezes. I forced shutdown in those cases, though possibly it would have resolved or crashed if left longer. Sometimes, with versions of Proton other than Experimental, instead of black screen, the SMPTE color bars would appear, and the game would skip the video and resume gameplay.
Without Proton Experimental, videos often cut to black and froze, crashed the game, or displayed SMPTE color bars. While Proton Experimental still occasionally crashes, and the button prompts are inaccurate, the game is generally playable.
