While limiting if trying to play solely on desktop, most of the core game is accessable and enjoyable
Crashesany time the GPS map is called into view (with about 10 second delay). Activities like kirin can only be joined by direct invite via the assembly function. Will crash after leaving lobby as it goes to GPS map.
Just avoid Any GPS zones like: Demon encounter, Kirin, Guild map, Area boss, ETC
The EULA accept/deny prompt when logging in for the first time with an account can cause the game to crash at lower resolutions. By enlarging the screen I got it to properly display the buttons and have had no issue since.
Does not work in game mode. Works perfectly fine out of the box in desktop mode.
Game hangs in specific parts of story chapters. If story is finished on another platform then everything else plays without any issues.
Hanging (VK_ERROR_DEVICE_LOST) during story chapters when Seimei is using Vision (non-optional; needed for story progression).
Game just froze at the login screen from the start. Restarted the game and it works just fine and not encountered anymore freezing/crashing. Haven't tried the multiplayer part of this game but graphics, sound, combat and town just works fine. I would say for now 99% works just fine.
loads to a black screen then crashes, have tried older proton versions.
Game immediately crashes, barely rendering a window for a fraction of a second. Disabling esync, forcing opengl, trying other available Proton versions, at best they lead to a window not even rendering.
Works pretty well, with new proton version NOT have any crash anymore and purchase in game works.
[ tweak, tested by me several times ]>*** For any reason the game will start with black screen if you use the defalt installation path set by steam; to avoid it, have to create and choose other installation path that not contains any dot, space or special characters. After that the game runs fine. ***
[ not related ]> Sometimes you get the game run in speed up or freeze, then move the game window around to back to normal (this even also happens the same on MSwindows, and NOT related to wine/proton, but with bad port of the game from mobile to pc. )
Generally works but some parts of the game need a web browser (For videos) and font scaling is bad if game not run in full-screen. Font aliasing is better after switching to steam with native libraries.
playable, but sometimes crash
Team chat font has aliasing issues, After few hours of inactivity sound might get crunchy, probably related to pulse audio, also sometimes fails at displaying graphics when that happens. Might crash sometimes, usually after hours of gameplay in this case it but might be game issue rather than proton. Nothing game breaking or even annoying.
