Significant input lag

See the notes about performance.
The game simply freezes at the loading screen. All I get is black screen with the yellow loader in the middle which is also frozen and I never get to enter the garage.
Never been able to play normally with the highest settings, despite my hardware. With the highest settings I enter the battle when half of the team has died. With medium and low settings I'm the first to enter the battle even before the countdown starts.
Since Proton is based on wine, my guess is that Proton Experimental is based on the latest wine which is currently 9.22. But 9.22 is glitchy and basically not working at all. At the moment the only way I could get the game work even better than on Windows and than on Steam was wine 9.21 with manually installed wine-mono and also manually installed .Net Framework 4.8.1 with Windows 11 compatibility setting in winecfg.
Note: with the other Protons the game won't even start.

The game works great
No problems works great

The game works flawlessly using Proton Experimental.

PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 PROTON_NO_FSYNC=1 PROTON_ENABLE_NVAPI=1 %command% -glSteam
Can't launch without launch option, but worked perfectly after that
The expirence was almost too good. I didn't expect to run the game on this laptop at all, let alone run it that well.

Runs perfect
Ultra settings - stable 100+ framerate

The game runs like butter on every arch or arch-based linux distro when using the launch options i included
PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 PROTON_NO_FSYNC=1 PROTON_ENABLE_NVAPI=1 %command% -glSteam
sometimes the audio cancels out my spotify even tho on solus linux it didnt
i achieve solid 90fps after adding my launch options

gamemoderun %command%
Promo video audio is sometimes messed up
Barely any real issues albeit there's no text scaling
default

It worked just fine last night, now it doesn't
PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 PROTON_NO_FSYNC=1 PROTON_ENABLE_NVAPI=1 %command% -glSteam

When the game starts, initially it doesn't have any sound. The only way to bring it back is to click on any menu in the game. Clicking menus in this game is always accompanied by sound effects (designed by the developer), so doing that brings the sound back.
Sometimes, for unknown reasons, half of the controls stop working. You may be able to use the numbers line of the keyboard but WASD and auto-aim won't work at the same time. The only solution - restart the game.
There's some slowing down when loading a battle (you might enter the battle long after it has begun) and the only workaround to that is to disable shadows in the game settings.
The tinkering is only inside the game settings, not in Proton itself, so the general experience will be fine, depending on the hardware.

PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 PROTON_NO_FSYNC=1 PROTON_ENABLE_NVAPI=1 %command% -gl
After I set up the standard command PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 %command% for launching, I encountered a screen with artifacts but with sound. However, using PROTON_ENABLE_NVAPI helped, and the game launched, albeit with unstable performance. In solo rooms, the FPS ranged from about 30 to 40. After trying everything I could think of, I started disabling certain features, and turning off fsync did the trick. Once I turned it off, the in-game FPS immediately stabilized at 60, and I didn't experience any more issues after a few test matches. The game is running smoothly and without problems – I'd even say it's much better than on Windows.
I also don't recommend trying Proton versions higher than 7. For example, with Proton GE, all textures and models disappeared except for tanks, and on the experimental version, I was getting no more than 2 FPS. Many people have already noted this, but the best performance seems to come from versions 6 and 7.

prefect launch game and play

Works great. Even enables the 120fps option when all connected monitors support that. No slow downs and just works in all maxed settings.
gamemoderun %command%
Works like a charm.
The game launched only a black window and crashed. It was because Radeon and not AMDGPU driver was used. After switching to AMDGPU DXVK worked and the game launched fine. You can also use PROTON_USE_WINED3D11=1 %command% in game launch options, but the performance is worse...
PROTON_USE_WINED3D11=1 %command%

PROTON_USE_WINED3D11=1 %command%
Thansk to @MikeTheComrade. No versions run and I was putting wrong launch options. Only 6.3-8 worked very well. I was tinkering a lot. Reading logs etc..
gamemoderun mangohud %command%
На железе как у меня и именно на Арче игра идёт отлично, как на винде. А вот на Федоре у меня в игре были фризы
Работает как родное
Runs perfectly

small text in some menus
I noticed when I upgraded from GE-Proton7.2 to GE-Proton7-18 that I was no longer able to complete sign in to Wargaming.net.
I figured out that firejail needed to be configured by adding the following to the 'steam.local' firejail profile.
#Used for WOT Blits with Proton > 7.2
seccomp.32 !process_vm_readv
More details here:
PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 %command%
1.5 fps

Does Not Connect
It looks like a anticheat problem. The game simply does not want to connect to servers for whatever reason and gives me no option to select the servers
Error Unable to connect to server.
Tried Proton Experimental, 7.0-1 and 6.3-8
Play button
The game works like it the same way it works on linux
The game works perfectly on a low end laptop as though it were running on windows .Proton and Steam have made sure everyone can enjoy the game .Overall
10/10 No lags No tinkering Works perfectly
