Mileage might vary, but i find black squares instead of cursors unenjoyable.

Mouse cursor / crosshair were a strange black square. In action cam, the square was covering the crosshairs, though on fast turns you can see the crosshair. Turning via right click in rpg cam also had a black square.
Windowing:Switching
Setting contents of "player.ini" in game directory to "FullWindow=1" loads the game in fullscreen window, enabling alt-tabbing again.
Only briefly tested character creation, walking around for a few minutes, not long-term stability. Initial load times are very high, but according to a dev, that is also a problem on windows.
