Works perfectly on desktop pc(Bazzite) and also on a rog ally on Bazzite.

Works well out of the box, better performance than on Linux due to Windows having issues with shader cashing
I have not tested the game thoroughly, I have played only in Ranked mode, Room matches and training mode.
Encountered no issues with anything, the performance was good and the frametimes were stable, no graphical glitches, the graphics settings stay on and are changed immediately, controllers are detected immediately.
Overall better experience than running the game on Windows 11 in my experience, as Windows 11 would stutter a lot while processing shaders.

FPS tanks in Character Selection and when Input Display is on

Generally performs fine. Character Select Screen and Input Display Option tank performance (from 60fps to ~35fps).
Alt+Tabbing when the game is in Borderless Mode may permanently make it pause, even after alt tabbing back (might be a game issue).
Generally performs fine, but enabling Input Display tanks the framerate (for example, in Training Mode or the Throw Release 2 tutorial).

On day one it works but drops frames in some levels
Slowdown and dropped frames when the camera is showing the action behind a transparent wall.

runs flawless out of the box in open beta.
Ranked matches ran smooth

Open Beta is working pretty well overall; audio crapping out is the only major issue. Spectator video not working but isn't a deal-breaker
mangohud %command%
Cuts out & doesn't return without a restart
Seems to be locked at 60fps

working well, except for the audio cutting out after a while. going to play more & might report again
was working at first for a few matches then it went out
side note: i tried spectating an online match but there was no video for it. not sure if this feature just hasn't been implemented yet or what, but i'm about to retry & i'll report again if necessary
Open beta working out of the box.
Both casual and ranked matches, working perfect.
Multiple matches online with zero issues. Perfect experience!
Played on Open Beta, experience may change in full game if they add DRM or anti-cheat that doesn't go well with linux.
I played a Ranked Match using matchmaking and everything worked as intended.

Game is fun but too deep for my simple brain to understand completely, so all i'm gonna say is that it's VF5 on PC and it runs really well
This is from the Beta so unless they change a lot it will likely work just fine on the full release

No launch options necessary if you're not using gamemode or gamescope. Game works out of the box (in open beta)
gamemoderun gamescope -w 2560 -h 1440 %command%
The Beta works perfectly in my experience. I got a few network errors that I'm assuming are universal issues due to the beta test, not a major inconvenience to just get back in queue.
This was posted during open beta. Hopefully it only gets better on full release, as of now though A+
Beta version work perfectly out of the box!

Open Beta Works Out Of The Box With Proton
Despite this being VF's first foray onto the PC in over a decade, It runs well, There are no issues with online and overall I can say that this game is a joy to play on Linux

Installed then loaded without needing to do anything.

I only tested for a less than an hour, but everything I tested worked: Options (changing from borderless to fullscreen, adjusting audio, changing controller settings), Training Mode/Free Training, Training Mode/Command Training, and exiting the game.
Also picked up my arcade stick (old XBox 360 HORI-Pro EX-SE) without any issues.
Finally Virtua Fighter 5 has come to PC and linux. If this trend stays the same for the full release of REVO and the new VF Project then I will be a happy man.
Tested on 7800X3D/7900XTX, Vanilla Arch (btw) and Hyprland with default Proton and GE-Proton9-14.
