Changed graphics settings in-game: Quality to Low, Set Window to Fullscreen from Borderless.
This game is very polished and optimized. The hardware requirements on the Steam store are lying, you don't need something like a GTX 1080 to run this game. Changing the graphics quality to low will increase framerate, but the Steamdeck can handle the high quality setting with ease. Low just makes it a bit smoother if you prefer. Game supports controller input natively and works with the Steamdeck controls without any changes. No issues with audio or graphics, and no obvious bugs. There are some frame-drops here and there during the loading screens but they are not noticeable.

Game works pretty much right out of the box with default settings selected by Steam.
Choppy audio. This issue happens on my PC with most games running under Wine or Proton.

The game will occasionally drop to a stuttery low FPS when entering an area, but leaving and returning seems to fix it.
