Also tried Proton Experimental, GE-Proton8-4 and GE-Proton8-14 however only GE-Proton8-1 got the login prompt to work
I did put into windowed mode (just lower your resolution) before switching to GE-Proton8-1 so I'm not sure if windowed mode is required for login to work or not
The game plays perfectly as intended after you get past the login issue. Controls aren't to my liking, but this is a phone game.
Depending on Proton version, the glitchy login window prevents anything to be done with the game or the system.
The login screen only appeared properly in windowed mode when using GE 8-1, while Proton Experimental allowed me to get to the title screen and configure it to go into a windowed mode, and THEN restart it with GE 8-1 to properly login and make my character.
Simple free game after you get past the initial issue. Large map to explore.
Necessary Login screen is buggy
Tried Proton 8.0-3, GE 8-1 and 8-11, and proton experimental, all with varied flavors of the same error. Some people were able to play it, maybe they all have Intel/Nvidia hardware and that makes a difference in this game for now.
It runs great on GE-proton8-1(although you will have to link your google or make a dawnlands account)
a couple of enemies within the game might disappear once and awhile
Login screen is buggy, it only allows google and dawnland accounts
