Works well, bit of a timer
The game will get stuttery after playing for a while and eventually framerates crawl after an hour or two
Definitely playable, I've spent quite a few hours on it at this point, and it does look lovely. If you notice framerate drops, just exit and restart. Even just going back out to the main menu seems to be enough most of the time.

plays beautifully! didn't have to make any adjustments

Default font scaling is not enough to comfortably read text
Need to manually select controller input type in the settings
FPS drop upon investigation of the army or location

Game worked perfectly out of the box, no tinkering, no custom proton just install and run. I experienced minor frame drops around 25-27 FPS on default settings, but that is somewhat expected on big map with a lot of details. IMPORTANT: contoller scheme is binded to mouse and keyboard shortcuts, but it is playable, if somewhat clunky. The developer promised that on 1.0 release there will be full controller support.

The defaults of Proton were not working so I tried various versions of Proton (GE, 6, 7, 8, 9, Experimental). Proton 9.0-1 was the only version where I could start the game and play. Using another versions let me stuck in the main menu with a "Steam initizialization error" (whatever this means). Multiplayer not tested.
