Can't play with all the flickering
The game flickers rapidly and constantly upon launch to an unbearable degree. Even the Steam Overlay flickers. If you fullscreen it at that point, the flickering continues, except your last frame will get frozen as well, taking away your ability to see anything afterwards. I attempted to disconnect my 2nd monitor following another report, but the game continued flickering even while using just 1 monitor. If you attempt to quit the game through the settings menu off the main menu, the game goes black and gets stuck. If you attempt to press X on the window, it will ask you to confirm to quit. Clicking "Yes" does nothing, but closing the prompt is what causes the game to quit. These issues all persist throughout:
- Proton Experimental
- Proton 9.0-4
- Proton 8.0-5
- Proton 7.0-6 (I also got a crash prompt and some weird Wine pop-up while using this)
- GE-Proton 9-20

On newer versions of Proton, the game would slow the entire computer down whenever a save file was loaded.

The game part is fully functionnal, but there are some odd issues with cloned fullscreen and quitting.
gamemoderun %command%
The game flickers extremely rapidly when the desktop is cloned on multiple displays (occurs systematically on KDE wayland). Can be solved by disabling the replicated monitors.
Quitting from the pause menu causes the game to soft lock every time, and requires killing the process via an extrernal method. Quitting from the main menu works as expected.

7w TDP
Both "Borderless" and "Windowed" (the only available settings on Deck) makes the scaling look terrible by default. This is "fixable" by turning on/off the V-Sync settings in the config, but the fix needs to be reapplied every time you launch the game.
The game runs incredibly well on Steam Deck. It's just a bit annoying to reapply the workaround/fix every time I launch the game.

Works out of box
Slight sound crackling, but nothing serious
game not runing with X11 display manager i try using wayland and it's playable only some freeze but playable
For the first few launches everything was fine, but after that point the game began launching in a reduced portion of the screen (only in gaming mode). Bumping up resolution through library settings didn't help, weirdly though disabling and reenabling v-sync fixes the issue, along with ensuring borderless is enabled. This eventually stops working too but deleting proton files through library settings seems to fix this too. I recommend leaving resolution on at least 1080p due to some quality issues in the first game of the trilogy.

proton 8.0-5
Works perfectly with x-box controller.

Game works but screen blinks like a strobe light
Game will not lanch on recent versions of Proton (both 8.x and experimental cause "unsupported graphics card" error).
Game will run on older version of proton (eg. 7.0-6 and GE-Proton7-55) but screen will turn into o strobe light blinking constantly, which makes the game unplayable (at least for me).
Due to Denuvo's limitation of 5 game launches per day I am unable to do any more testing.
Crashes on launch and generates a crash report - even on experimental.

The first game, AJ, uses low-quality sprites in the default resolution (1200x720). Moreover, the game defaults to window mode, stretching out the image, which can be fixed by setting the game to borderless.
Some of the mentioned bugs/inconveniences may get addressed in updates to the game.

Set TDP to minimum (3 watts)
Great experience so far, runs at stable 30 FPS, although that doesn't matter as it's a visual novel.

gamescope -w1920 -h1080 -W2560 -H1440 -b -Sfit -Ffsr -r144 --sharpness 20 %command%
Gamescope argument upscales 2d assets, since without it, AJAA looks very pixelated at 1440p. Haven't tested the 3D games too much, but they seem to work fine on initial testing. Whole game seems to be locked at 30fps, with no mod yet unlike Great Ace Attorney.

Game will only launch successfully with Proton Experimental, every other version, including GE crashes immediately. But thankfully it is still a very simple fix.

Too many graphics problems. Denuvo blocks me from fixing it
There were so many glitches that it was unplayable. After changing proton versions and launch options "too many times", Denuvo locked the game for 24 hours. F*** Denuvo.

Proton Experimental is the only version that worked, Proton 7/8 both GE and Valve latest version would crash immediately and open a crash reporter dialogue. If you don't force a specific Proton version the game will crash immediately without bringing up the crash reporter.
