Playing on Hyprland, it just works.
Almost perfect but has major sporadic slowdowns / FPS drops
The audo would start stuttering along with the random game slowdowns mentioned below. It is likely a result of the same issue since it was always resolved at the same time the slowdowns were.
Infrequently during some cutscenes or in the menu the game starts to lag and drop to single digit FPS. There was no consistency on when this would happen, but the most common place I noticed it was while tinkering in the orbment menu. Sometimes it resolved itself and went back to normal after a few seconds and other times I had to restart the game because it was still happening after a minute or two. A restart would always resolve the issue immediately either way.
1440p with graphics preset:
- Ultra - 80-90 FPS
- High - 144 FPS (using 144 as the cap)
The quality settings did not seem to have an effect on the slowdowns (I even tried the lowest settings), so I completed most of my playthrough using the Ultra preset. I also briefly tried Proton Experimental but reverted after I eventually experienced the same perf issue as with the default Proton version.
Once you fix it up it runs pretty well and it's a generally turn based game so the stuttering doesn't impact things too much.

At first it was freezing after partical effects with attacks, but not right away. Happened over time. I added that command line and it got better but I still notice a studdering here and there and I don't think it's just shader cashing.
I think it had a bit to do with my nvidia gpu communication to linux as well to be honest as the game generally runs fine (better in general honestly) on my steam deck
CPU-Core exhaustion causing Audio Issues and Input Lag
Audio stutters in certain situations. Mainly after going into the menu after a battle. This continues even after I leave the menu again and even continues into event scenes. Does not happen in Towns, only in places where enemies can be encountered. Seems to be the symptom of CPU-Core exhaustion, since when this happens one core is at 100%. This does not happen in Windows on the same hardware.
100% exhaustion of one CPU Core when going into the menu after a battle. Fades sometimes, but only permanent solution is to restart the game. Occurs almost every time in this circumstance. This also produces severe input lag, making field battles quite hard, since you most likely mess up the dodge timing.
It has been running flawlessly ever since the new patch that also adds official English option

I played a full playthrough and didn't ancounter a single issue.
It works fine on X11, (i3), but not so much on hyprland (wayland).
screen tearing
The game launches and mouse works but keyboard and controller do not
Not playable in current state on the official English patch. At least not in hyprland. I'm going to try again under X11.

Translation patch
Small UI text
After playing for a long time, the game freeze the system. Occasionally restarting the game after a certain point mitigate this issue.
All the tinkering I did is adding English patch so I can play it in English
cutscenes and some ui elements have small text
