I had an issue on the Steam Deck where it couldn't run but forced Proton Experimental, you also may need to make a custom controller config, otherwise its a pretty smooth experience

Game has a weird aspect ratio by design. Chapter intermissions were first cut off at the sides for me, setting the resolution to 1920x1080 in the Steam settings fixed this for me. Works flawlessly.
