When I start the game, it uses all my RAM(32GB RAM,16GB swap) in seconds. The DE is unusable (no RAM), I have to kill the game via console.

game starts but never shows a screen

The game starts without a window and spends a long time grinding and computer is unusable while it does. Message logs show repeated errors attempting to read optical drive despite messages saying the drive is empty. It finally is killed after running out of memory "Out of memory: Killed process 176909 (Chimeraland.exe)" after which the computer is usable again but both Chimeraland and Steam have been killed.
