the first patch seems to have solved the performance issues I was having, so please ignore my previous review. nice work!
due to graphical stuttering, the sound effects often did not line up with what was happening.
My computer meets the minimum system requirements, but the framerate dropped to low-single-digits in the outdoor areas. I didn't expect it to be as smooth as butter, but I expected to be able to play the game without frustration.
Game did not start until I switched to Proton Experimental. Although my computer is quite low-spec, it does meet the minimum system requirements and I've played games with similar graphics fine before - but I experienced a lot of performance problems. I'm not sure if this is a Wine problem or if the stated minimum system requirements are unrealistic.
Warnings about flickering lights directly on launch are too small. Other menu text has a good size
Default settings only give 23-40fps and there are short drops on some sudden events
Precached shaders and some optimizations of the game itself could make it a very good (verified) fit for the steam deck.
