Completed without real issues
Background ambient noise sometimes continue to loop after exiting areas making a jumbled mess of sounds. No idea if this also occurs on windows

While generally the game plays fine, it will crash after a certain cutscene that occures around 6h into the game.
crashes everytime after a certain cutscene

The game without any tinkering can last around 1.5-2h on battery. If you want to squeeze more juice from your deck, by changing the refresh rate to 40 Hz you can get around 3h of playtime on a charge. The overall experience remains the same. I highly recommend!
-dx12
If you are playing with a controller the GUI can't tell if you are using a controller or the keyboard and flickers the controls for both, and it got rather confusing.
Any new combat and move causes the game to chug to single frames per second. I have a feeling it has to do with shaders.
Unless you are running equilavent hardware or have UE4 crashing on you, I ran into no significant issues playing this game in Proton. The -dx12 flag got the game to work for me (and with the latest graphics and dxvk updates). Unfortunatly my hardware is underpowered for this game so I couldn't play it for long before the stuttering forced me to stop playing.
Getting 1 FPS
No problem encountered during the 10 first minutes of gameplay.

Working well with a little trick
if you have a "need visual c++" error dowload and install vc_redist.x64.exe with protontricks via the explorer option and don't forget to launch proton in win10 mode
need Visual C++ runtime.
I installed them all via protontricks, and it is not working.
