FPS is slightly lower than expected given hardware and settings. Turning down setting slightly will fix this, and this game doesn't look very different either way.
Three versions of Proton run at least semi-well. These are 3.16-9, 4.11-13, and 5.0-10, with each one getting better after the other. Other versions have issues with framerate and stuttering.
the game is still fully playable and fun but a high selling point is simulating millions of units fighting but still very fun
When loading in 2 million spartans I would only get about 5 fps When I played the game on windows with the same amount of spartans I would have about 30fps but still very playable if you only spawn in about 500k [High graphics]
Perfect performance
Runs like a native steam game, no tinkering required. awesome performance, I was getting 50,000 spartans fighting with great fps
Make sure not to set the graphics to anything above potatoe and it runs great with massive battles
I think this game is prone to low FPS, But I couldnt get over 5
Works as is but i run Experimental for best result.
