The startup process is a little odd on the Deck: just a black screen with no audio for about five seconds, then about twenty seconds of black screen with sound effects playing (enough to make you wonder whether the graphics even work on the Deck), then a "Please wait, loading..." logo in the bottom right for another 15-20 seconds as the sounds keep playing, then you're finally in the game. I have no idea why they don't get the "Loading..." graphic up earlier to reassure the user that everything's OK, but whatever. Once the game is loaded everything is nice and responsive; there's an enforced few-second wait (with all graphics) as you start each race, but everything else is immediate and runs very well on the Deck, with no problem sustaining a rock-solid 30 fps. I did not have to make any control adjustments.
Game runs moderately with minimal issues, Played with with PS4 controller(Seemed to require Steam's controller settings)
Trying to load from one level to another will sometimes not render most of the map
Game freezes and has to be force closed when alt-tabbing
Game randomly deleted my progress at one point
Game runs at 60 FPS at main menu, When rendering cars or during play it can fluctuate from about 25 to 35(Probably due to hardware and not Proton)
